C3 Corvette LS Trans Mount Adapters

BRP lists its four tailshaft adapters here for C3 Corvette LS swaps. They are made for the TR-6060, CTS-V T-56, MG9, 6L90E, 8L90E and 10L90E. Read the C3 notes below first, because the 1968-1982 kit mounts the transmission on the factory Turbo 400 style crossmember.

What each adapter is for

Cadillac CTS-V T-56 or standard Camaro TR-6060: laser cut 3/16 inch steel with hardware.
MG9 high torque TR-6060 from the CTS-V LSA: a separate adapter with hardware.
2009-2014 CTS-V 6L90E: adapts the tailshaft to a traditional mount.
8L90E and 10L90E: one adapter fits both housings.

1968-1982 Corvette transmission notes

The C3 kit includes a transmission crossmember bracket and two spacers that bolt to the factory crossmember.
The guide says that bracket only works with the Turbo 400 style crossmember.
Some later factory crossmembers lack the right mounting tabs and may need to be swapped for the earlier one, possibly with welding.
With an automatic, three 1/4 inch spacers go between the tailshaft housing and the gold preload plate.
Driveshaft length changes from original, and the kit does not work with the factory clutch z-bar.

Which crossmember does a C3 LS swap use?

Do I need spacers with an automatic in my C3?
