What comes in the 1949-1954 line kits

  • Fuel line is P.T.F.E. lined stainless braid in a black cover, so newer gasoline will not break it down.
  • With the 255 LPH kit you get a combined filter and regulator set to 58 psi, the GM LS spec.
  • With the 400 LPH kit the regulator is adjustable and compensates for vacuum or boost.
  • The steering kit has a stainless braided high pressure line and a nylon low pressure return.

1949-1954 Chevy line fitment notes

  • For a 255 LPH 1949-1952 or 1953-1954 tank, pick 6601-00. For a 400 LPH tank, pick 6605-00.
  • BRP says its 255 LPH tanks support up to 550 hp and its 400 LPH pumps are for supercharged or higher output engines.
  • Both fuel kits are built for returnless rails, not an early LS with a regulator on the rail.
  • No BRP guide covers line routing, transmission choice or clearance in these cars.
