1984-1996 Corvette LS Hose and Line Kits

Braided lines for an LS in a 1984-1996 Corvette. BRP C4 pump kits mount on the factory EFI sending unit, and these line kits carry fuel from there to the LS rail. Cooler lines and an LS steering pump hose round out the set.

What comes in the C4 line kits

Fuel hose in both kits is stainless braid with a Teflon liner, chosen so newer gasoline will not break it down.
6601-00 regulates to 58 psi. 6605-00 trades that for an adjustable regulator aimed at high output or boosted engines.
Two piece screw together fittings take the place of plastic clips at the rail.
A braided supply line and a nylon low pressure return make up the steering kit.

1984-1996 Corvette line fitment notes

Per the guide, the automatics that work with the kit are the 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E and 4L75E. Manuals are the 1998-2002 F-Body T-56 and T-56 Magnum.
Of those automatics, the 4L60E cooler kit names the 4L60E and 4L70E.
The guide adds that a factory ZF six speed works with a Quick Time bellhousing, and a 700R4 bolts up with a flywheel spacer.
The guide is written for 1984-1991 cars and requires the 1998-2002 F-Body LS oil pan.

Do I need a new fuel tank for a C4 LS swap?

BRP lists no C4 tank. Its pump and fitting kits put a Walbro 255 LPH or Aeromotive 340 LPH pump on your existing EFI sending unit, with the fittings to connect a BRP fuel line kit.

What separates the two fuel line kits?

The regulator. 6601-00 has a fixed 58 psi filter and regulator combo. 6605-00 has an adjustable regulator with a vacuum or boost port plus a separate filter.

Which cooler kit fits a 4L60E in a C4?

000-6630-60, which runs from the transmission to the radiator in black covered braided hose.

Can I use the 4L80E or 6L80E cooler kit in a C4?

Both kits are listed here, but the guide names only the 4L60E through 4L75E automatics for this chassis.
