Mid-length or long tube LS headers?

Mid-length headers

1-7/8 inch, silver ceramic coated, with ball and socket collectors and O2 bungs. Made for each chassis to bolt in with Muscle Rods kits.

Long tube headers

1-7/8 inch long tube headers, ceramic coated, or 304 stainless for 1970-1981 F-Body and 1975-1979 X-Body. Collector and O2 bung details vary by chassis, so check the product details.

Before you order headers

Pick headers for your exact chassis and engine family, LS or LT.
Check your transmission. For example, G-Body headers suit T-56, 4L60E, 4L65E, 6L80 and 6L90.
Most headers are designed around a floor shifter. Column shift linkage may need changes.
Some installs need the starter, a valve cover or spark plugs removed to fit the headers.
