High-Flow Exhaust Header for F-Body Applications
When transplanting an LS or LT powerplant into a 1982 to 1992 GM F-Body chassis, proper exhaust routing becomes a critical factor in achieving reliable backpressure and thermal management. These headers employ a stepped header design with 1 7/8 inch primary tubes merging into 2 inch secondaries to balance velocity and scavenging across the rpm range. Constructed from high grade stainless steel with a ceramic coating to guard against rust and corrosion, they install to original locations without modification. Note that this set includes only the header assemblies in blemished condition; hardware, gaskets and collector extensions are not supplied.
Constructed from high grade stainless steel with a ceramic coated finish and a stepped 1 7/8 inch to 2 inch header design, these assemblies deliver a precise fit and lasting corrosion resistance for 1982 to 1992 F Body engine swaps.
