BRP’s Muscle Rod line of headers are designed around our conversion kits and to be used with them. We cannot guarantee fitment of our hedders with a custom built or other manufactures conversion kit, however; our mid-length headers do tend to work with other mounts as they do not have the clearance issues that the long tubes have.
Headers are made of light weight mild steel featuring a laser cut 3/8” thick flange at the head. The primary tubes are positioned to work with the timing of the LS style engines; this improves exhaust scavenging. Primaries are also tuned length to make the most horsepower. These features are the reason our headers have produced more horsepower on the dyno than others. You can expect a 20-25 rear wheel horsepower gain running our mid-length headers over stock manifolds and a 30-45 rear wheel horsepower gain over stock manifolds when running our long tube headers. All the headers we offer come with a high temp ceramic silver coating for long life and durability.
Mid-length headers have a ball and socket type collector that does away with leaks associated with traditional style collectors. Long tube headers come with a bolt on collector available in either 3” or 3 ½” diameters. All of our headers include gaskets, hardware, and collector extensions. Sizes range from 1 5/8” to 1 ¾” primaries for the mid-length headers. Sizes range from 1 ¾” to 2” primaries for the long tube headers. We also offer stepped headers in 1 ¾” stepped to 1 7/8” or 1 7/8” stepped to 2”.
